What materials are used in Wyldflower Jewellery?

Our jewellery is crafted from premium stainless steel — either 304 or 316L, both highly durable, waterproof, and hypoallergenic materials loved for their long-lasting shine.

We’re currently transitioning our collection to 316L stainless steel, the highest grade used in jewellery and known for its superior resistance to tarnish, corrosion, and wear.
While our existing 304 stainless steel pieces remain of excellent quality, offering the same water-, sweat-, and life-proof durability you’ve come to expect, our new 316L range takes it one step further in strength and longevity.

Our gold designs are plated with 18K gold using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) — a modern, environmentally friendly process that creates a finish up to ten times thicker than traditional plating. This makes every piece more durable, tarnish-resistant, and long-lasting.

So whether you choose silver, gold, or black steel, your Wyldflower piece is designed to be beautiful, strong, and made to live in — every single day.

Is your Jewellery hypoallergenic?

Yes! All of our pieces are made from 316L stainless steel, which is one of the safest metals for sensitive skin. It’s nickel-safe, lead-free, and hypoallergenic, meaning it won’t cause irritation or reactions for the vast majority of people.

Our gold designs are plated with 18K gold using PVD – a modern, non-toxic plating technique that creates a durable, skin-friendly finish.

So whether you have sensitive skin or just want jewellery you never have to worry about, our pieces are designed to be comfortable, safe, and irritation-free.

Under Australian Consumer Law, there isn’t a single “nickel standard” label, but jewellery safety aligns with ISO 1811 / EN 1811 — which limits nickel release in items intended for prolonged skin contact.
316L stainless steel naturally falls well below these limits, meaning it’s considered nickel-safe and suitable for those with sensitive skin.

How is your Jewellery 100% water-safe?

Yes, this is because our jewellery is crafted from premium stainless steel – the highest grade available for jewellery. This premium steel is naturally corrosion-resistant thanks to its protective chromium oxide layer, and with the addition of molybdenum, it offers superior defence against pitting and crevice corrosion, even in saltwater.

For our gold pieces, we take it a step further. Each one is plated with 18K gold using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) – a modern technique that creates a finish up to ten times thicker than traditional plating. PVD is environmentally friendly, uses a vacuum coating process, and results in an incredibly durable layer that’s resistant to tarnishing, fading, and everyday wear.

The result? Jewellery that’s 100% water-safe, sweat-proof, and life-proof – designed to keep its shine no matter where life takes you.

How do I take care of my jewellery?

Cleaning Tips:

Use only water and a mild soap to wash your jewellery.
Use a soft cloth to help clean it (no abrasive cleaning tools).
Regularly cleaning your pieces can keep residues to a minimum making them shine on the daily.

How do I determine my ring size?

There are two different method you can use to find our your perfect ring size.

If you already own a ring in the correct size, you can physically measure it. If not, you can measure your finger to determine your size.

METHOD 1 : MEASURING YOUR FINGER

Cut a piece of paper to about 10 centimeters (cm) in length and about 1 centimeter in width
Wrap the paper around your finger where you want the ring to sit. Adjust it so that it fits comfortably—not too tight or too loose
Mark the point where the end of the paper overlaps with itself using a pen
Lay the marked paper flat against a ruler or tape measure, and measure the length from the end to the marked point in millimeters (mm)
This measurement will give you the circumference of your finger

METHOD 2 : MEASURE A RING

Select a ring that fits comfortably on the finger where you plan to wear your new ring
Measure the internal diameter of this ring using a ruler or measuring tape. Place your ring on the ruler and measure the inside of the ring (the area that touches your finger)
Refer to our Ring Size Chart to convert your diameter measurement into the appropriate ring size

Do you offer necklace extenders?

Absolutely, we do. Our "Gravillea" Chain Extenders are available to purchase as a 5.5cm or 10cm extender, in our Accessories section.

ORDERS & SHIPPING

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

Postage within Australia is $9.95 and takes 4-14 business days for delivery. Orders over $99.00, the postage is FREE.

EXPRESS POSTAGE IS $14.95 and takes 1-4 business days for delivery. Orders over $149.00 Express Post is FREE.

Do you ship Overseas?

We currently are only shipping Overseas to New Zealand, but hopefully something in the near future we will be shipping to other Countries.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept card payments with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Aside from the major credit cards, we also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay! As well as Afterpay & Zippay.

Do you offer gift cards?

Of course! We offer digital gift cards with instant delivery.

Our digital gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. They have no minimum order value and no additional processing fees.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Warranty

All jewellery purchases come with a 6-month warranty on all colour-related issues, and a 6-month warranty on all manufacturing faults and defects, starting from the date of purchase. Please note that accidental breakage or general wear and tear, such as scratches, are not covered by this warranty.

Returns

All Items can be returned if there are manufacturing faults or defects. A return label will be emailed for returns. We also offer exchanges on our rings if the wrong size was ordered.
